Enrollment
Founded in 2009, and having obtained a childcare license from the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) in 2010, Peacock Family Services has since been awarded DCYF’s Early Achievers rating of “Quality Level of Excellence with an area of specialization in Interactions and Environment”. The DCYF licenses approximately 6,000 early learning programs and school-age sites in the state of Washington. Licensed early learning providers follow foundational quality standards, the Washington Administrative Code (WAC), set by the state to ensure children in licensed care are in safe, healthy, and nurturing environments.
Frequently Asked Questions
2024 Tuition Rates
You can find our 2024 Tuition Rates sheet here. More information about monthly payments and how they’re charged can be found in our Parent Handbook, which can be found below. Tuition is re-evaluated each year and adjusted to reflect a cost of living increase. We are a year-round program committed to continuity of care. To support our staff and facility operations, enrollment spaces must be maintained. Therefore, in order to ensure their child’s space in a classroom, parents must pay tuition whether or not their child attends, regardless of sick days or family vacations. Healthy breakfasts, lunches, and snacks are served at Peacock and are included in the monthly rates.
Tuition Assistance
As a reflection of our core value of inclusiveness, Peacock provides financial assistance at the highest level possible. Peacock also accepts children receiving state subsidies through the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). Peacock partners with Helpline House, who aids in assessing a family’s financial situation and ability to pay. Upon evaluation, Helpline House will contact Peacock with its recommendation of the level of support needed. For more information regarding financial aid opportunities, contact Peacock’s Executive Director Zoe Vrieling at zoe@peacockfamilyservices.org
